Take time to review the tools and resources below to learn about your 2017 benefit options. When you are ready to enroll, click the link under “Make the right choices.”

Things to consider during Open Enrollment:

  • Network – Only In-Network coverage is available beginning January 1. See the Open Enrollment Guide in the Learn What's New box for more information on In-Network coverage.
  • Click here to use the provider directory search to determine if your providers are in the UHACO network.
  • Spouses are eligible to enroll in the benefit plans and participate in the HealthyUH wellness program.
  • The UH Health Savings Account (HSA) 2017 employer contribution for employees enrolled in the Consumer Select Plan is $500 for an individual and $1,000 for a family.
  • If you enroll in the Consumer Select Plan, open your Health Savings Account before December 15, 2016, to receive 25% of the employer contribution in January 2017 (remaining UH contributions will be made on a per pay basis starting in April).
  • Access the CVS Caremark drug pricing tools to calculate your costs under the UH medical plans. Click here, then select the link appropriate to your medical plan enrollment.
  • Have your dependents’ social security numbers available when you enroll in benefits.
  • New ID cards will be provided for medical, pharmacy, dental and vision coverages.

You must enroll in UH benefits in order to have coverage for 2017 under the UH benefit plans or sell PTO.
